The place right next door to us sold a few weeks after we got back from our honeymoon. They have not moved in to the trailer, but might build a house at some point. For now it is a hobby farm. They have been hard at work fixing up the property, buildings and trailer. They have made lots of progress and there are already a ton of animals living there. There are lots of sheep, some goats, 2 llamas (they act as guards to protect the other animals), and a few chickens.
The sheep are being butchered halal on the property and sold. With the Islamic holiday Eid this weekend he is hoping to sell a lot and is having a party next door. We have learned through our neighbor that lamb is the traditional meal for Eid.
They have been very nice and helpful already so we are happy.
