Your apple braid looked more appetizing than the pinterest photo, because there are so many apples! I imagine that tasted good. I am rather glad those pancakes had a nail put through them. Sounded good to you, but it looked like sugar surrounded by pancake batter, reading the recipe. Baking powder might be too old, as her cookie cum pancake rose very high, but mainly, why bother? You are adventurous, trying every recipe! I heard that your Christmas buffet was so good, no one really wanted dinner. There is success for you. :-)

I love trying new recipes. It makes cooking more fun. Otherwise it's more like a boring chore.
